“It is with huge sadness that I heard today that Colin Richardson, a very good friend and former Chairman of Aces Wheelchair Basketball Club has passed away.
Colin was a local businessman in Buckinghamshire and his company, SEME Ltd were the sponsors of MK Aces from 1984 to the late 1990’s.
Colin was a huge supporter and came to almost all the home matches and also to a few European adventures when Aces competed in the Eurocup. Not only did Colin support the club he was keen to be involved in helping raise funds and ensure there was a social side hosting a Tennis and BBQ annually at his home.
Aces have had many legendary players but Colin was a legend off the basketball court and he will be greatly missed by his lovely wife, Jeanette and his family and friends.”
Everyone at Aces Wheelchair Basketball Club would like to pass on their condolences to Colin’s wife, Jeanette, family and friends at this time.
